How Do I...
Make An Appointment?

Appointments may be made by telephoning 01843 848818.
Doctors' appointments can be booked in advance. A number of appointments are kept back each day to ensure urgent and emergency appointments can be catered for. If you cannot keep an appointment please inform us as soon as possible to enable another patient to have that slot. When you book an appointment you will be offered one with the first available doctor. If you wish to see a particular doctor it may not be possible to offer you an appointment to see that doctor within 48 hours.
On Line Appointments are now available to be booked. You will need to register for this service and you can obtain a form to do so by contacting the surgery on the above number or emailing

How Do I...
Obtain Telephone Advice?

Telephone Consultations
If you feel that your problem may be resolved by a telephone call you will be offered a telephone consultation with either the doctor or nurse. You will be given a rough estimate of the time that the doctor/nurse will call you.

How Do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?

Patients are requested to telephone as soon as possible if a visit is required that day. Emergency visits only will be arranged after 10.00am. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to house calls. Please remember that several patients can be seen at the surgery in the time that it takes to do a home visit. Home visits are at the doctors’ discretion. She/he may telephone you to ascertain if a visit is appropriate.

The visiting guidance attached was drawn up by the Local Medical Committee (LMC).  It is the LMC view that the guidelines apply to all patients in the community whether they are in their own homes, assisted housing, residential or nursing homes.

How Do I...
Obtain Test Results?

Please telephone after 2.00pm to ensure test results have been received before booking an appointment with the doctor to discuss them.
