Welcome to Birchington Medical Centre
We are pleased to accept registration requests from patients who are living within the area indicated on the map below.
The area covered by the practice is anyone living within the CT7 postcode area and some CT8 postcodes. Please enter your postcode in the box below the map below to see if you fall into our catchment area.
Please note that the map below is a window into another website which we have no control over. You may find, particularly on mobile devices, that you may need to drag the map left to enter details and click.

Registering is easy. You will be given a registration pack to take home to fill out and advised to return to the surgery with the necessary documentation: a form of ID (eg passport/birth certificate) and proof of residency (eg utility/council tax bill). If you live at home with your parents a bank statement showing your address will suffice.
Please note that patients are registered with the practice and not with a particular doctor. You will however be offered a named doctor who will look after you.
If you move outside of the surgery area, you will need to register with another surgery within your new catchment area.
111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It's fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals.
