We have our lead Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Barbara Rennells.She is able to see patients, very similar to a doctor, and can prescribe medicine.
We have five practice nurses - Karen Wilshaw (Diabetes Lead and Co-Clinical Lead), Karen Spencer (Anti-coagulation Lead), Ulrikke Elmakbachi (Respiratory Lead), Lucy Blackman and Eleanor James. We also have three advanced healthcare assistants Rachel Wiggins, Hui Huang and Leigh Woodward supported by two healthcare assistants, Barbara Roche and Shirley Ridge.
As well as carrying out normal nursing duties they also run an asthma clinic, anticoagulation clinic, diabetic clinic, immunisations, cervical smears and provide advice on health in relation to travel abroad. The nurses can be seen via the appointment system.
