Receptionists

Our 8 Receptionists, Sharron (Manager), Lesley T, Mandy L, Alison, Mandy C, Georgie, Kati & Leigh P, are here to help guide you and advise you by arranging appointments for the various clinics, doctors and nurses. All information is treated in the strictest confidence. Please remember that their job at times is not an easy one and they appreciate your co-operation. Please also be aware that we they will terminate any call that violated the zero tolerance policy of the NHS.

 

Administration Team

Our Finance Officer, Nicola, assists with the financial matters of the practice.

Our Prescription and Registration Clerks issue repeat prescriptions and looks after changes to medication. They are available to help with any problems you may have regarding your repeat prescriptions but are unable to take requests over the telephone. They are also able to help with any enquiries regarding registrations, change of names, addresses, consent forms, next of kin, power of attorny (health only) etc.

Our Medical Secretaries and Workflow Optimisation Team, Ruth (Supervisor), Lesley H, Johar, Julie, Faye and Gia, between them look after all the general correspondence of the practice. If you have a problem with a referral or a hospital appointment they will be able to help you. They also look after all insurance claims, requests from solicitors and disability claims etc. They also look after all the incoming medical letters from consultants etc. and ensure that the correct coding is placed onto patients records to ensure an accurate chronological report is kept. They also ensure that any tasks e.g. medication changes, that come from a consultant are actions in a reasonable time frame.
